Fishbone Consulting Group utilizes the DMAIC problem-solving method. When we start a project, we assemble a team of internal and external partners. Together, we examine your business processes by drilling them down to identify the problem and pinpoint its source.

It all starts with an introductory phone consultation where we talk to you about your business. We ask you about what you do and the challenges you face. This conversation helps us determine what you want to achieve and what our timeframes may roughly look like.
Once we have our information and goals outlined, we begin by creating a problem statement to streamline our focus. This becomes our project team’s mission statement.

From there, we evaluate the selected processes in their entirety. Our work is focused on where you are now. We create a process map to find areas of improvement. This includes the suppliers and input phase, the "production stage", and the output process.
And remember, the word process refers to everything. Phone calls, accounting practices, delivery, manufacturing.
